Margaret began her IRS career in 1988; and soon after was selected for a position in the IRS Office of Appeals. She is currently a member of the ACA Compliance Strategy and Policy Team. The positions Ms. Gerdine held in Appeals also included; Specialty Operations Technical Advisor, Technical Guidance Coordinator, Appeals Team Manager, Appeals Officer, Appeals Customer Service Representative, and Tax Computation Specialist. Her educational background includes a Masters in Taxation from California State University and a law degree from University of Missouri-Kansas City.
