John Murphy has worked 24 years with the Internal Revenue Service. He began his career in the SB/SE division as a General Program Revenue Agent in July 1991. He served as a Special Enforcement Program Revenue Agent for 8 years beginning in 1994. John graduated from the IRS Front Line Readiness Program and became a Front Line Manager in December 2002. He graduated from the IRS Senior Manager Readiness Program in July 2006 and was selected as a Territory Manager in October 2006. Since 2008, John has taught numerous Front Line Functional Training classes for Front Line Managers and has served as the TM Champion since 2012. He is currently serving a detail with the ACA Program that started in April 2015. John graduated from Pacific University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business, with a concentration in Accounting. In his spare time, John enjoys spending time with his family and friends, as well as cycling, golfing and working out. |
